The brief was to provide the busy owners of this federation villa with a light-filled living area and amenities more in keeping with the demands of modern living.

This was achieved by opening up the rear of the house, extending out onto a new deck and pergola, providing additional storage and re-orienting the bathroom laundry area.

The project also involved the construction of two new carports which had to respect the original building facade.
